8 Mind Games Played By Recruiters to Test the Candidates
Recruiters Will Leave Out Parts of Questions to See How You Will Finish Answering
Often recruiters come up with incomplete questions; say for example, they will ask you to describe a time when you faced a difficult situation, without specifically asking what you did to bring the situation under control. Such questions are intended to figure out whether you are a ‘problem solver’ or a ‘problem bringer’.
Recruiters use this question to judge the candidate’s real attitude, and not his/her rehearsed character. They expect you to answer the things that you have done to fix the issue if you are problem solver, without having to ask for it; on the other hand, they view you as a problem bringer if you answer the question as it is.
