6. Liv Loberg:

Liv Loberg, a top Norwegian bureaucrat and former politician for the Progress Party in Norway and who held top administrative jobs within health care and other public sectors, was convicted for lying about her academic credentials. Her claims of having degrees from Queen Mary College, London School of Economics and Norges Handelshoyskole were discovered to be false. It was also uncovered that she was not a registered nurse and actually dropped out from the high school with one year of practical nurse education.  

In 2012, Loberg was fined 1 million NOK and sentenced to 14 months in prison.

7. Ronal Zarrella:

Ronal Zarrella, former CEO of Bausch and Lomb, claimed that he had received an MBA degree from New York University. It was later discovered that he had joined the program but had never completed the course. He had to give up his $1 million bonus after this revelation, but managed to retain his position, as he was a valuable asset to the company.
