Your like or dislike of other’s choice of attire cannot raise the concern. If you often trouble with that serious cologne cloud happening hours after he left, better you should think raising the concern. When it cross the line into distractive or an offensive, it may take other employees from work at hand. And also it may cause offending customers. There are few serious matters to think over when it comes to dress code. The strong body odor and strong scent will be an offensive smell which may disturb others. Too skinny wardrobe may show too much cleavage or your low-neck blouse can deviate other employee eyes and minds.
2. Your Relationship with Co-Worker:
At workplace, you may be dealing with clients, customers, co-workers and some other professionals. You probably got few in your personal networking also. Obviously, it won’t be pleased for anyone to hear that they look dreary in that dress. We, all are more concerned about what we wear. Don’t you think the same? Just think back how bad you felt last time even when your sister said your appeal is not ‘nice’. Then, what about once if someone will tell that your dress code is ‘offensive’. Definitely, you will be hurt. That’s what happens to others also. You should not tell your client or customer if their costumes were ‘wrong’.
