Indian Cities to Witness a Dip in Hiring, except Delhi

Teamlease has released this report by conducting a survey with the HR managers and senior management of 620 leading companies in India. In this survey it focused on the employment growth potential, the business outlook and hiring forecasts with relation to the location and the company profile. This report helps the corporate houses to understand the current employment trend in the job market of all the major cities in India.

Bangalore: According to this report, the employment Outlook has seen as downward movement in this current quarter and it is down by 4 points and stands at 75 points and regarding business outlook, it has seen a rise and is raised by 1point and it stands at 75. There is dip in hiring sentiment across all the sectors in the city and there is a raise in attrition level as well.

Mumbai: It is this city which has saw a major dip in the hiring, as it sees a 5 points dip in the Net Employment Index in the current quarter and it stands at 62, and the net business outlook seen a decrease and stands at 62 points. Mumbai has more or less downward trend for both the employment as well as business outlook, with Employment Outlook slightly outpacing Business Outlook. The attrition level has increased by 2 points.
