2. Dress Code:

In every company in India, there might be a general dress code for both men and women employees. For men, they most probably where formal dress from Monday to Thursday and on Fridays, most of the companies allow them to wear casual dresses. For women, there isn’t any specific dress code; usually they prefer to wear the dresses which are decent to wear at the office. But, the point to be noted here is, there are few professions and companies which demands you to dress accordingly, like for example the Airlines companies they have a dress code for both men and women employees. Few industries make it compulsory to all their employees to wear the uniforms the company provides. So, as soon as you get recruited to a company, make sure you get to know if there are any dress codes in that office.

3. Lunch Hours:

You might think it’s an office and you don’t have to follow any specific timing to take a lunch break even if the company has timing. Many companies are very strict upon the lunch break timings their employees need to follow. As you are a new employee, especially if you are a fresher, then you might feel a bit embarrassed to have your lunch when everyone is working around you. So, it’s better to observe what time everyone leaves for lunch and what time they report back and what else they engage upon during their lunch hours. These observations help you to decide your lunch timings. More than anything else, it is advisable for you to go according to the timing allotted for lunch break.
