In such a situation, he advises aspirants to assist their insecure bosses by proposing plans and asking for his/her approval. According to him, asking for approval will make them feel that they are in control.     

Avoid Arguments

Never indulge in an argument with an insecure boss. This is because insecure bosses never appreciate aggressive or argumentative attitude. Instead of arguing, Deshpande advises aspirants to be polite and put across an alternative idea or plan that he/she would like to consider.
