If you adore arts and love visiting museums, a job as a museum curator might sound very attractive to your ears, but think twice before you get started.

It turns out that being a museum curator is not very easy and in addition requires some serious schooling to land a job. As per Kent Lee, a Phoenix based career expert and CEO of Perfect Resume, in most cases you will have to earn a Master’s degree in a related field and must be familiar with a certain style of art to land a job in this line of work, which will obviously consume a lot of time. On top of it, the pay is very meager and you will have to encounter a lot of obstacles and competition, since there are hardly a few museums or galleries to work for.
