3.   Larry Fink, chairman and CEO, BlackRock:

The Chairman and CEO of BlackRock, Larry Fink claims that after leaving his first job at the firm, First Boston he came up with the idea to start an investment management firm that focused on risk management. Althought it was a brilliant idea, he was unfortunately lacking confidence in himself as a result he suggested the idea to Steve Schwarzman and Pete Peterson at Blackstone, they liked the idea and came to terms of a partnership with their investment in the company. They gave them a 5 million line of credit to start the company and he in turn gave them 40 percent stake. According to Larry they made the right investment decision but he did not.

4.  Carol Bartz, former president and CEO, Yahoo!:

Carol Bartz says that she has made several mistakes in her life. There is no such mistake according to her that is exceptional as she has made mistakes every year, week and month. However she reveals that she had her daughter at the age of forty and thus she wished that she should have started having children when she was younger so that she could have had more children.
