1.    Mickey Drexler, CEO, J. Crew:

Mickey admitted that the biggest mistake that he committed happened when he was working at GAP. He called up financial Times reporter Vanessa Friedman and said, that time the GAP brand was experiencing a quick expansion, as it was increasing its real estate holdings by 70 percent. This move taken by the firm was opposed by him but ultimately he declined as it was ultimately taken by the firm. Now, according to Mickey he should have fought much harder in the board meeting to stop their descision of expansion being carried further. By this he is not blaming the firm for their bad decision, instead he blames himself for surrendering.    

2.    Reid Hoffman, co-founder, LinkedIn:

The most famous professional social networking site, LinkedIn’s co-founder Reid Hoffman admitted that the biggest mistake he ever made was, he knew earlier that he wanted to go for a startup and create a kind of software that could help in changing the lives of millions. According to Reid his idea went well but nobody gave him the right advice for doing this, that the network that he has started is actually his career. He claims that if he had realized this before he would have probably gone and begged for a job at Netscape.
