However, now when I talk about coaching people do understanding that a coach is helping to find out answers from within."
Market Outlook
Ms. Sangeeta Dasgupta is a certified coach under ICF (International Coach Federation). As a coach she acts as a thinking partner for people who are stuck inside their own stories and perceptions. She helps clients think more broadly for themselves, beyond their blinding fears, inherited beliefs, and half-baked assumptions that limit possible actions. As a result of this new perspective, clients discover new solutions, take action on solutions they had avoided, and commit to long-term behavioural changes more often than when they are told what to do. She helps clients make their own action plan based on their goals and gets them to practice it changing the neuroplasticity of the brain.

She works with Neurogenesis which is the ability to create new neurons and connections between neurons throughout a lifetime. This new paradigm helps ones brain to reorganize itself, both physically and functionally. The birth of new neurons reshapes and rewires the brain making the shift as a new desired behavior.

Looking Ahead
Sangeeta suggests that living in and nurturing the present is the mantra for wellness and this is what her institution is doing. As she mentions in the interview that she is working on two niche programs "To maintain productivity in the changing environment" and "Retirement coaching". She finds these two areas to be the future, looking at increasing cases of depression after work-life retirement.

During her interview Sangeeta mentioned about her worries about the next 12 months being the ongoing recession mainly because of the pandemic situation in the world. Moreover, some 2.6 billion people around the world who went through lockdown in 2020 due to COVID 19 will result in a secondary epidemic of burnouts and stress-related absenteeism in the 2021. Sangeeta thinks, "Taking action now can mitigate the toxic effects of COVID-19 lockdowns. In short, and perhaps unsurprisingly, people who are quarantined are very likely to develop a wide range of symptoms of psychological stress and disorder, including low mood, insomnia, stress, anxiety, anger, irritability, emotional exhaustion, depression and post-traumatic stress symptoms."

Speaking about her future standings, Sangeeta concludes, "Recent growth of revenues have been significantly stable and not been impacted due to the pandemic as we shifted from in-person coaching to online ,phone and email coaching. The future holds more coaching to be done using technology platforms. Life, Vision and Enhancement coaching will become more prevalent due to the changing environments and so a slow and steady growth will be definitely seen in the `coaching world."
