  • TECHNOVATE Hubs to boost skills in AI, ML, and Cybersecurity
  • Focus on training students, faculty, and start-ups nationwide
  • Initiative supports India’s tech education and innovation goals

In a major push to strengthen India’s technical workforce, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has partnered with the Consortium for Technical Education (CTE) to launch TECHNOVATE Hubs. These centres will help students, educators, and start-ups build practical skills in cutting edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Cybersecurity.

The TECHNOVATE Hubs will operate within AICTE’s Indovation Centres and follow a hub-and-spoke model, connecting colleges and universities across India, especially in rural and semi-urban areas with advanced resources and expert mentorship. The goal is to make top-tier tech training and tools accessible nationwide while building a stronger startup ecosystem.

The first pilot hub will launch at the AICTE Indovation Center in Jaipur, with plans to scale the model across the country.

These hubs will offer hands-on learning, advanced workshops, and real world problem-solving, giving students and faculty exposure to global standards in tech innovation. CTE will lead mentorship and incubation efforts helping participants develop prototypes, safeguard intellectual property, and connect with industry experts.
