1. Anthropology:

Anthropology is the science of humanity, i.e. it is the study of humans, past and present. An anthropologist basically studies the origin and evolution of Homo sapiens (i.e. humans), human behavior, human physical traits, organization of human cultural and social relations, variations among different groups of humans, how the evolutionary past of humans has influenced our cultural and social organization, and so on.

Though anthropology majors offers intellectually exciting courses, prepares students for excellent jobs and opens doors for various career paths, the fact is that job opportunities and success in this field are forged by the individual and not by the program that one follows in the college. Presently, anthropology grads face stifling unemployment, forcing nearly one third to take low paying sales or office jobs.
