There are many studies conducted which shows that attractive people generally earn more money and enjoy better performance reviews and people view them as being more intelligent and trustworthy. But according to a recent study published by Rice University, revealed that attractive people actually suffer from a "beauty penalty," that means they are penalized more harshly for failing to live up to expectations. But it does not mean that the more beautiful persons are better at the job than the other ones. Though attractive people have an advantage in the rat race, but there are various things beyond looks. Beauty has nothing to do with the skills of the person, and this is why in certain occasions, the better people are left out. In spite of all the studies and statistics, when it comes to get a job and being professional, only the skills, intelligence and performance matter.
