Eric Barker, writer for Wired magazine mentioned in the new consensus in psychological research, the positive biases directed toward highly attractive individuals. The study shows that the attractiveness is only helpful when interviewing someone of the opposite sex but it can be a negative factor in same-sex interviews too. However, it's a known fact that we tend to observe the more beautiful people than the other ones. Another study was conducted and the participants stated that they were more obsessed on the very attractive people as soon as they saw them. The study also revealed that the more attractive people were considered to be more suitable for certain jobs, even if those jobs did not put an emphasis on attractiveness.
