Sixth on the list of countries with the largest labour force is Bangladesh, the largest contributor to the United Nations peacekeeping missions. With a labour force of 7.70 crore and a rapidly developing economy, this vibrant nation on the fertile Ganga-Brahmaputra delta has been identified as the one of the ‘Next Eleven’.

Agriculture is the major contributor to the country’s GDP.   

Russia

Russia, the largest country in the world that spans over nine time zones, occupies the next position on our list. The eighth largest economy in the world with respect to nominal GDP and sixth largest in terms of purchasing power parity houses a labour force of approximately 7.56 crore.

Fuel & energy, agriculture, chemical, petrochemical, machinery, and so on are the major industries that contribute to the country’s GDP.
