Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT)

Exam Time: Last Sunday of November

Exam Criteria:  Graduates in any discipline from reputed colleges or universities.

This paper pencil based exam is conducted by the government run Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi. Of the 60000 students who write the paper, only two hundred are taken up in the Kolkata and Delhi campuses respectively. The two hour exam has varied number of questions and different markings every time.

Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT)

Exam Time: September and February

Exam Criteria:  50pct aggregate marks in graduation from recognized colleges or universities

Started in 2011, this online national level exam enables students to get admission in colleges affiliated to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The clearance of this exam opens door to several big B-schools like Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Research and Entrepreneurship Education (SIMSREE), Goa Institute of Management (GIM) and many more. Conducted by AICTE, the exam had about 1.24 lacs students participating in 2014.
