Mahindra Satyam, formerly known as the Satyam Computer Services till June 2009, is an Indian IT services company based in Hyderabad, India. It was founded by the former IT industrialist B Ramalinga Raju in the year 1987. But, after the firm was taken over by the Mahindra Group, the name of the firm was changed as Mahindra Satyam. In the year 2011, this firm merged with another Indian IT services firm named Patni Computer Systems for an approximately $1 Billion, in Indian rupees, approximately 5,560 Crore. As per the employee count, this IT firm has around 30,000 employees working for it and in that, approximately 25 percent of the total employee count is been filled with women professionals. This is yet another IT company that has 1 woman along with 8 men in its senior management positions.
