As emailing is the best way to have professional conversation with your boss, it is always advisable to document every possible conversations and interactions that you have tried to make with your boss through the emails. Maintaining such records of the conversation can help you later and can act as a support if any time in future if your teammates blame you for your failure at work. You can easily turn the whole blame on boss by proving them with the help of the preserved records that you tried your level best. You can easily claim that it was your boss who did not co-operate with you by being unresponsive to your mails.

 

5.Reach out to the Higher Authority:

You should not hesitate to take a bigger step by reaching the higher authority, who is the boss of your boss to solve the problem if your boss is unresponsive to your e- mails, chats or phone calls. Take adequate proof to him and discuss with him the problems that you and your team mates are facing everyday because of his unresponsive behavior. Also highlight the impacts of his unresponsive nature that is adversely affecting your performance including your teammates. If the higher authority is unable to solve the problem, then roll out the problem to the HR department, if this also does not work. Leaving the company will be the wisest decision for you if everything fails.
