It is always advisable for the employees to interact with boss as it is one of the best ways to communicate. Your boss may not be available over any medium like phone, email or chat etc; therefore, you should always make an attempt to approach him face to face. An ideal way to have a face to face interaction will be an informal gathering, away from the professional workplace setting where a face to face interaction with him is possible. It is said that in an informal setting people are likely to open up easily than in a formal setting. You may also find out the reason of his being so unresponsive.

 

3. Try to Understand the Reason:

Often it is seen that some managers react to the employees by cutting off communication. This may likely be one of the reasons why your boss is not communicating with you. In such kind of a scenario if you feel that your boss is annoyed with you, ask your colleagues that if they have faced this when the boss has been unresponsive to their email, phone calls, chats etc. This kind of a reaction might be sounding unprofessional to you but you can solve it immediately by addressing to the manager faithfully, discussing with him the root cause of the problem for which he might be annoyed with you. Asking for an apology may also help to solve this kind of a problem.
