A Geographer is a scientist who studies Earth’s physical environment and human habitat. His job description includes analyzing, identifying and interpreting the arrangement and distribution of features of Earth’s surface, while also studying ecological and climatic patterns of selected areas. They also specialize in climatology, ecology and cartography, i.e. map making.

Geographer is one of the rarest jobs to come by on the planet. Similar to mathematical technician and astronomers, this job requires enormous brainpower and extensive study. In addition to inherent qualification, the openings are very few and the pool of practicing geographers is very small, which makes this profession to top the all time list of hardest profession to enter into.

9. Forest Fire Inspector:

Forest fire inspectors basically inspect forest fire hazards and enforce fire regulations. They are also responsible for reporting forest fires and weather conditions in a particular area.

Forest fire inspectors are solely hired by the government; hence there is rigorous screening and selection procedure for this profession. Very little job opportunities and the grueling selection process elevated this profession to the top of the pile of the hardest jobs to get into.
