7. Mining Worker:
Mining workers have to carry out their tasks under the ground, and in unforgiving and uncomfortable conditions. They often have to work in cramped spaces with little or no light and air to breath. They constantly run the risk of being crushed by rocks. Though mining sectors have taken appropriate steps to improve the working conditions of their workers, they are still prone to life threatening injuries and health complications.

8. Farmer:
Farming is one of the most dangerous jobs in India. It accounts for one quarter of all work related deaths in India. Farmers are vulnerable to injuries due to animal attack or bites; chemicals such as pesticides can cause respiratory illness, burns or poisoning; and electric shocks. They are also prone to health issues such as hypothermia, dehydration, sun burns, heat stroke, salmonella, ringworm infection, leptosporosis, giardia and more. In addition, confined spaces such as manure pits or milk vats may contain unsafe atmosphere, which can cause suffocation or poisoning.
