Relocation is Valuable for Business and Employees: Study
Abhishek Singh, Manager-Staffing of a leading software product company said that they generally relocate to put up employee requirements. In addition, this relocation is within same function or could be across departments, and that their company relocates employees also for business expansion purposes, and for this they shift the middle management to set-up process at the new business location. Abhishek further said that the vacated position of the employee is not removed but a new employee is hired for that position.
JobBuzz, a career research platform by TimesJobs.com states that a large number of employees agree to relocate out of their current job location for career advancement. According, to the industry experts relocating employee both domestically and internationally is challenging for both employee and the organization. The challenging task for the employers is to fill up that vacated position and for the employees to adjust into a different work and life culture and also to move out of their homes. However, if the relocation is well planned it can prove to be good for employees' career advancement and meets skill shortages at a particular location for firms.
