Never Say These 10 Things At A New Job

'Please listen to me!'
Never ask or demand people to listen to you because that doesn’t work anymore as people are better exposed to things that they listen and are quite aware of what is what.

There are always expectations from a good speaker at work place as he knows what he’s speaking and has the knowledge to influence people to listen to him. But a person with half knowledge who just needs attention from people to listen to what he says is what you should avoid doing at work place.
'I'll attempt’
It’s a term that gets you into confusion mode because at work place you are assigned to do certain work on time and if you just say— ‘I’ll try—it just speaks volumes of your capabilities and you may be cut short of future opportunities. So to avoid that you can put across your words in a different manner like ‘I’ll check and let you know,’ which may fetch you a better impression.

“Saying 'I'll try' can also mentally limit you somewhere from giving the work your best shot. If you say something more positive and specific, it creates a better impression of your efforts with the listener. Then, even if you fail despite your best efforts, the person will appreciate that you actually did try,” said Arora.
