She is also considered as the India’s richest CM and first Dalit woman CM of the country as well. Jayalalitha, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu was also a popular actress in the Indian cinema before she made her entry to the politics. She is the present General Secretary of ‘All India Anna Dravida Munnera Kazhagam’ [AIADMK party]. She is also called as ‘Amma’ and also a ‘Revolutionary leader’ by her followers across the State of Tamil Nadu. No one had imagined that a Tamil actress will become such a powerful woman leader in the Indian politics. She has served as the CM of Tamil Nadu for three terms. She was also a member of Rajya Sabha in 1980’s. It was her government which started the ‘Cradle Baby Scheme’ to prevent female foeticide and introduced police stations which are solely operated by women.
