TCS is India’s most respected brand and is also the largest IT services provider who is offering consulting and business solutions for organizations.
However, the biggest service provider is also one among the list, when the company said that it will lay off 290 people from its global work place in Finland. The company then went to transfer 800 jobs from Finland to India.
The company later came out with a web portal that will allow employees to explore internal redeployments in Nordic region and Europe respectively.
Flipkart
Job cuts: 250
Well who can really forget Flipkart? We certainly can’t because it is the company, which brought in the trend of online shopping to India and had a major influence on people who didn’t trust shopping over the internet.
The e-tailing giant Flipkart was also on the list making layoffs, as it let go of 250 people this year. The company didn’t make official announcements about the exact number of job cuts, however information reveled by the sources said that non performers and employees with poor appraisal ratings were asked to quit.
