Indian Executives Ready to Accept 24 Percent Pay Cut to Get Their Dream Job
Bangalore: In the present Indian corporate world, the executives are expecting the people to take up a 70 percent pay cut if they want to be in an ideal job. But when the same situation if they are about to face, they are just set to a 24 percent pay cut, reports a global study conducted by PwC along with London School of Economics and Political Science, reports Devina Sengupta on the Economic Times Website.
Though many Indian executives felt that they are not in the right job which they can consider it as their ideal career, they are not ready to get into a profession that suits them the best as it demands them to accept a discount in pay package. But the case was different when it came to executives from other nations because, these executives advised a 60 percent pay cut for others to take up if they wanted an ideal job, but in their case, they said they are ready to take a 24 percent cut. Along with India executives, it was African executives, who turned out to be another set of executives who were ready to accept an ideal job with a 24 percent pay cut.
