Before sending any e-mail, you need to be clear about what you want to achieve from that e-mail. So, if you understand the purpose of writing that e-mail you can communicate accordingly with the receiver of that e-mail. If you want something exact task to be performed by your receiver, make sure you include that exactly as it is in your e-mail.
