 For the new generation gone are the days of boss or leaders whom you idolize all life. Leaders are now being replaced by managers who are expected to initiate and inspire them, over guiding them.  They expect a democratic attitude in the managers who will consult them before all possible decisions. Gen Y just wants to be informed. It’s not that the manager has to take actions as per subordinates but, coordinating workflow among all creates better work ambiance. It makes the work process fast and also individual team members can learn from each other. Abiding the boss at the top, make work process monotonous and slow. Team work leads to delegation of work with the promise of an efficient outcome and scope for more ideas creating a healthy work culture.

#Reconsider the schedule
Gen Y is against working in the same environment where their parents worked. They want to get out of the binds of working from nine to five or eight hours a day. As most of the work of the millennials is technology based, time restriction does not fall as a look back. The flexibility to work anytime leads to best productivity from the young employees. If not it for this reason, even women in India work safely in night shifts today!
