Employers Demand For Employees' Competencies Rising: Report
New Delhi: Employers now-a-days are making higher demand from their employees' competencies than five years ago and job requirements are likely to become even more demanding in the next 5 years, a Randstad report says.
According to recruitment and HR services specialist Randstad's latest Workmonitor Survey, over the past five years job requirements have become very challenging in India and in the years to come it is expected to get even more demanding.
In India, 91 percent of the surveyed employees believe that employers make higher demand on their employees' competencies than five years ago which is a little higher than the world average of 86 per cent.
Moreover, in the next five years, 90 percent expect their job requirements to be more demanding which is above the world average of 76 percent.
"India is fast emerging as a Human Resource Powerhouse for the world where 11 million workforce is getting added to the job market every year. This paves way for tough competition that will result in high demand and expectation from the organizations," Randstad India and Sri Lanka CEO Moorthy K Uppaluri said.
