Failing to update applicants
Leaving applicants reeling without updating them about the status of their applications is an aspect that renders firms to be frowned upon by job seekers. Almost 80 percent of job seekers label organization as unresponsive to them and 55 percent were reluctant not to apply to firms that didn’t respond to their previous applications. This could possibly tarnish the image of the firm on web services that evaluate them based on employee/aspirant feedbacks. Besides, it would also risk the firm losing potential candidates for good. Automating the application process would make it easier for firms keep applicants updated with little or no effort.
