Cultural fitment is probably as crucial as the skillet, hiring candidates without considering the former, turns out to be another mistake that recruiters make which often leads to employee dissatisfaction that translates to low productivity. More than half of the hiring managers who participated in the study admitted to downplay the importance of cultural fitment while hiring candidates.

Settling in on lesser skilled candidates

Immense pressure in terms of budget and funding leaves employers with no other option but to settle for lesser skilled candidates who would fit the pay scale. Such companies are at risk of an increased CTC dispensed on behalf of training employees. About 22 percent of organizations that participated in the study expressed readiness for negotiations of candidate appeared best-fit for the job while only about 18 percent of them placed superior importance to skill set. The statistic however, appears favorable to entry level candidates who are on the look out to build hands on experience.
