Beware Being Emotionally Attached to Your Colleagues

If you are too soft and emotionally close to an employee, it is very difficult to take decisions which are helpful to grow your business because your softness doesn’t have the capacity to demand work from the person who is close to you. And many times your colleagues end up in taking advantage of your softness by taking too many leaves, completing their personal tasks during working hours etc. So, you need to avoid being too soft and you must maintain a gap between yourself as a boss and a colleague every time.
5. Even firing someone becomes difficult:
Suppose your colleague who is very close to you commit mistake which turns to harm your business, will you be able to fire that person? Many times the answer will be ‘No’ because you are personally attached to that employee. You need to know the fact that being emotionally attached to an employee will not work in this real world. You need to take up right decision even though it is hard decision to take on a person from the point of view of your business. You must learn to be nice as well as smart in the corporate world.
