Carnegie Mellon University: Even though it’s moved down by one place this year. The Carnegie Mellon University has strengthened its status among American universities. And it is consistently ranked in the top 25 national U.S. News and World Report rankings, and it is listed in the top 60 (ranking 55th in 2013) amongst universities worldwide. In addition, the university is well known for preparing students for the future. Carnegie university scores 90.9 and recently the university’s School of Computer Sciences topped a list of U.S. colleges with the highest-earning graduates compiled by NerdWallet earlier this year.
University of Cambridge: The University Cambridge has a great history and most of it grew out of an association of scholars, which was formed by them. The university has produced many notable alumni’s in various disciplines and 90 of its alumni’s have got Nobel laureates that have been associated with the university. It is been regularly placed among the world's best universities in different group tables. Cambridge is steadily catching up Oxford in the computer science ranking and it is slowly, climbing to the top from its 7th place last year. The University of Cambridge scored 90.3 in the area of employer reputation and was listed on top in the global employer survey. The university was overtaken by rival Oxford due to slightly lower scores in the factors like academic survey and research.
