Stanford University: The Stanford University is considered as the most selective university by professionals after Harvard. The university is well reputed for producing some top alumni’s, who have went on to found corporate giants like Google, Hewlett-Packard, Nike, Sun Microsystems, and Yahoo.  The university which is eyeing for the top spot remains MIT’s closest rival in the field of computer science. Stanford has been overtaken by MIT on the indicators for academic and employer reputation. And has the second best score of 92.3.But when it comes to research Stanford actually has a slightly higher score compared to the other top universities in the world.

University Of Oxford: Climbing to 3rd place from 6th last year, Oxford is certainly making it count and also posting some serious challenge for the list’s toppers. The University of Oxford is well known for producing some top notch alumni’s; among them are twenty-sixth British prime ministers, close to 30 other world leaders, 12 saints and 20 archbishops. Oxford with a score of 88.9 has done very well across all three indicators, and exceptionally well for employer reputation. However, the overall highest score on employer reputation is still being held by university’s all time rival, Cambridge.
