If you love being the helping hand for your college events and are not quite a techie, then you could give a thought to working as a production assistant for your college. A lot of work goes behind the making of an event and you will be assisting your college folks by being a part of the production committee. All the events that are organized by college organizations can provide you with that extra exposure that you might require in order to pursue event management for a career. This not only includes working for a play or a dance show but also getting an opportunity to watch them while you work!

Babysitter

University employees generally opt for college students than a babysitter so that they can keep an eye on their little ones at the same time. Moreover, if you are a known figure to a professor there are higher chances that you can get a chance to babysit their children provided you are good with kids. There are high chances of you finishing your homework too once you put the kids to sleep!

Research Assistant

Most colleges require assistance in their research work and are ready to hire dedicated students for a part time job. Many departments like that of Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Psychology etc prefer hiring students for their research programs who can assist them. If you have interest in any of the core subjects then go up to your office department and you will find a job in research field. English, history and Sociology departments also require students in doing their background research. You can work in any of these along with your regular learning while you gain extra interest and knowledge in your favorite subjects!
