1. Evaluate the situation:

Before you get upset on anyone for stealing your ideas, it is your duty to calm down yourself and evaluate the situation before talking about that with others. Firstly, you need to access the entire situation and have a talk with your superior about the fact because most of the times they may be unaware of the fact. You must first confirm that the entire idea is yours or not. If it is just a rumor you should not believe on that without evaluating it personally. If you won’t evaluate it properly you might end up in blaming an innocent person. So, don’t create unnecessary tension in your professional life without taking right decisions.

2. Place yourself up:

If you want to prevent your boss taking away your ideas as his or her own, firstly, you make sure that you note your contributions and let other superiors get to know about your innovative ideas. If you follow this method your superior can get to know that you are the originator of that idea.
