Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Was Cut by a Canadian Football League Team
Dwayne Douglas Johnson also known by his ring name ‘The Rock, is also one among those who rose to fame after huge struggles.
Johnson was a college football player for the University of Miami, even had a national championship under his belt with the Miami Hurricanes football team. He later played for the Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League, and was cut two months into the 1995 season. This instance led him to become a professional wrestler like his grandfather.
After this he gained mainstream fame as "The Rock" in the World Wrestling Federation
from 1996 to 2004, and was the first third-generation wrestler in the company's history. He has also appeared in several films, including his latest flick Hercules and many more.
