University Of Pennsylvania
The University of Pennsylvania, also referred as Penn, is an American private Ivy League research university located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Founded by the trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, it is one of the nine original Colonial Colleges with highly selective admissions that has a history of innovation in interdisciplinary education and scholarship.
Penn's academic and research programs are led by a large and highly productive faculty. And over its long history the university has produced many distinguished alumni, that include twelve heads of state including one U.S. President, three United States Supreme Court justices, and supreme court justices of other states, founders of technology companies, international law firms and global financial institutions, university presidents, and eighteen living billionaires.
Stanford University
Leland Stanford Junior University which is commonly referred as Stanford University, is a private research university located in Stanford, California. It is one of the most prestigious universities in the world, with the highest undergraduate selectivity and fundraising performance.
The university has a long tech tradition and proximity to Silicon Valley and some of its faculty and alumni have founded many companies including Google, Hewlett-Packard, Nike, Sun Microsystems, and Yahoo.
Fifty-nine Nobel laureates have been affiliated with the University, and it is the Alma Mater of 30 living billionaires, and 17 astronauts. In addition, Stanford has also produced a total of 18 Turing Award laureates, the highest in the world for any one institution.
