# The London School of Economics’ Saw Swee Hock Student Centre

It is built at a tight spot with beauty in mind. At the prestigious Royal Institute of British Architects awards ceremony on 6th May 2014, Saw Swee Hock Centre was awarded the RIBA London Building of the Year Award and a RIBA Regional (London) Award. The striking building is designed by Irish architects O'Donnell and Tuomey, who were supported by an extraordinary design team. The centre is a hub for students and being situated at the heart of LSE’s campus provides extraordinary experience to students. The centre includes internet cafe and large venue spaces, a pub, media center, fitness centre including gym and dance studio, faith centre and also includes the LSE accommodation and several offices.
