Referral Hiring! A new Recruiting Trend

Now the trend has shifted to permit company’s own employees recommend candidates for the jobs through referral systems as reported by business insider. Female employees have an edge in this process. Lately many companies are emphasizing their candidates to refer female candidates for the job to equate the gender ratio inside the organization. It is considered as an important step in modernizing the workforce and many giant enterprises have given a green signal. In a compelling effort of female hiring, Capgemini has launched 'recruitHER', which directs their employees to upload profile pictures of female applicants to be part of a lucky draw. Following the same trend, Coca Cola has also prioritized female referral system with a reserved 15 to 20 percent premium of female hiring.
Not only companies are benefitted, employees have a huge profit from bringing suitable candidates for their employer. Certain amount of money and bonuses are remunerated to employees who bring a candidate through hiring and is recruited. Apart from the money, many gifts and rewards are given to the candidates who are a part of a successful referral hiring.
