This is a nation of the youth. The agriculture, industry and service (sectors) have to get equal importance," the prime minister said while attending the Global Investors Summit 2014.
Laying stress on giving impetus to the manufacturing sector, Modi said: "Value addition in agriculture, focus on infrastructure will help the farmers immensely." Through the 'Make in India' campaign "we want to tell the world that there are ample of opportunities in India, don't only consider us to be a market", he said.
"The concept of 'Make in India' is a win-win situation," he said. Adding the states are important for India's progress, Modi said: "Those who understand the strength of the states understand the strength of India...Centre and states are not rivals or enemies.
This message must go to everyone. If the states are with you, centre is with you."
