Bangalore: In workplace, we have listed out so many differences to categorize workers whether it is techies or non-techies, Gen Y or Gen X or Baby Boomers, men or women, the categorized studies on differences are carried out at various levels. Gender differences and Gen Y & X are the most common talks in workplace studies. While Gen Y or Facebook Generation doesn’t like to be mentioned regarding the genders, the studies are revealing more about gender differences at workplace.

A latest study by theFit findings on ‘Does Gender Matter in workplace’ says that working women are happier than working men.

Do women work more than men?

The findings say that most of the women work more than eight hours a day. Compared to 47 percent of men who tend to work more than eight hours, 54 percent of women reported working for long hours.  Even while on vacation, women are more likely to do more work compared to the opposite gender. The survey says 91 percent respondents work five days a week and 65 percent of surveyed does work during vacation time also.
