Increase In Demand For Analytics Resources In 2014 According To Kelly Services India

New Delhi: Global workforce solutions leader, Kelly Services, today released their findings of the Kelly Services India Report on ‘Salary movements across sectors in India ’. This paper analyses the trends in percentage increase in compensation of candidates seeking change in employment across sectors and salary levels. The data analysed is of candidates being assisted with employment opportunities by Kelly Services.

“Increment in salary among various sectors is credited to the skill oriented recruitment that is taking place and we see this trend continue to grow during 2014”, said, Mr Kamal Karanth, Managing Director, Kelly Services India.

The Kelly 2013 report highlights Information Technology emerging as a sector that saw candidates receiving highest increments across salary levels on job changes. Mid to senior level in the IT sector seen as specialised resources are still in demand unlike fresher’s who could not generate demand for their qualifications.  One of the key skills that evolved and will continue to grow in 2014 would be the demand for analytics resources. 2013 saw organisations of all sizes across sectors investing in analytics resources to improve processes, forecast better and ensuring they are a step ahead of competition.
