Highly Employed Indian States for 2012
Bangalore: According to a recent annual employment and unemployment Survey 2011-12, conducted by the Union Ministry of Labor and Employment’s, figured out that the Indian jobless rate stood at 3.8 percent during the last financial year. The survey was conducted among 81,000 households in the rural areas and 47,000 households in the urban areas. D S Kolmakar, the Director General of the Labor Bureau that is based in Chandigarh opined that, India’s rate of unemployment is a lot better than most of the developed countries in the world that can include, United States of America, Spain, South Africa etc.

As each of the Indian States have a different culture and social setup along with different demographic the unemployment rates vary accordingly. So, in such a situation, a State that has the highest literacy rate might fall in the list of highly unemployed State. It all depends upon the States growth rate.
