BANGALORE: When the new government came to power earlier in the year they promised for more employments. This dream could be realized next year. There will be an increase in jobs and work opportunities but how do you get in, is the big question. India’s market is growing and will keep growing but the requirements that companies’ want is the getting more challenging as well. With an increase in the number of jobs so will the demand from companies in terms of skills, knowledge and work ethics. So what are some of the things that we can expect next year? What’s in store for freshers? According to research from India skill reports 2015 that consists of teams from Wheebox, PeopleStrong HR Services, LinkedIn and Confederation of Indian Industry, there will be a rise when it comes to freshers getting hired. Experts say that though there will be a good percentage of opportunity, it will not be a euphoric as the last four years. Companies will hire freshers to boost productivity and growth but this will only happen among the best of the best since companies are looking for people with ready-made skills.
What jobs and skills will be in demand? This is one of the scariest questions at present times because in case someone doesn’t fall under the desired in-demand skill and job bracket they will have to look for alternatives that don’t pay as good. So the jobs and skills in-demand are those related to IT and BFSI (Business, financial services and insurance), hospitality and retail.
