Bangalore: Dissatisfied or neutral employees ranked having a bad boss as one of the top five reasons, with disapproval about payment being the only cause ranked above it, says an infographic by Bullhorn. In terms of age group, it is noted that 30 percent of the Gen Y employees are dissatisfied workers whereas 56 percent of the employees are satisfied workers. According to Katie Lewis of ‘Come Recommended’ in 2012, two of the top challenges for HR in most companies are being able to keep top talented employees on board and offer competitive compensation. Listed below are the top reasons for employee dissatisfaction and the solutions to solve the problem.
1. Compensation: As compensation is the top priority of dissatisfying the employees, it is not possible for most companies to provide better compensation to its employees in this economy. A good compensation can actually help to keep your Gen Y employees onboard but more than compensation, Gen Y employees prefer to work in an organization that has good corporate culture and that which can provide a great working experience.
