After its independence when Soviet Union dissolved, this country’s planned economy has moved to a market economy which caught up the country to economic crisis. Being the third biggest grain exporter in the world, Ukraine could remain as a globally-important market and supplier. Though, Ukraine could bring down the unemployment rate, poverty is the worst troubles of the nation’s inhabitants. Paradoxical to the poverty line, over 50 percent are reported to work full-time for an employer. Before the dissolving Soviet Union, Ukraine was the second largest economy with its growth in both industrial and agricultural fields.
