The shift of Vietnam’s agrarian economy to industry-oriented economy has brought out dramatic changes in the countries employment opportunities along with the move from centrally planned economy. Today, this Asian country has become one of the fastest growing economies and its manufacturing, information technology and high-tech industries are reported to form a large national economy. With a 13th rank, being one of the most populous nations, it needs a big effort to offer employment for more than 95 percent of the job hunters. Though, aftermaths of Vietnam War has reasoned for the country’s economic flux, it could bring down the level of unemployment. But, only 20 to 29 percent of the employees are reported to work full-time for an employer.
