3. Ankur Dahiya:

The social networking giant, Facebook, recruited this raw talent from the IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Delhi in 2011. He was offered a staggering salary of about 65 lakhs per annum. This 22 year old B.Tech student from IIT Delhi was a class topper and hails from Rohtak in Haryana, to a family of doctors.

As per Panna Munyal of Hindustan Times, Ankur admitted that he couldn’t wait to finish his last semester, as the first step in his post-IIT career would be a job that will take him to the computer engineering hub of the world, the Silicon Valley. Ankur said that he was going to be a software engineer at the headquarters of Facebook in the Silicon Valley and added that though the profile was not yet outlined, he was confident that it will be related to designing new services and infrastructure maintenance. He also revealed that the company was mainly concerned with problem solving abilities of an individual and the interview questions were mostly about algorithms and programming.
