As a wildlife rehabilitator, you will be responsible for nursing the sick, injured and abandoned animals, and prepare them to be released back into the wild.
A voluntary professional certificate or a state and federal permit is required to start a career in this field.
Surveyor
This line of work is another great option to break the jinx of the cubicle world and savor the wide-open sky, the sun and fresh air all day. As a surveyor, all you need to do is prepare a precise record of a land area’s measurements using Global Positioning System (GPS) and other similar equipments.
A Bachelor’s degree in surveying or a related field, plus a surveying license issued by the state are some of the perquisites to land a job in this line of work.
